The Role: Cloud Security Customer Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Solution Development: Collaborate with Security Sales and arenaflex Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand client technical and compliance requirements, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers that prevent adoption of our security solutions.
• Product Expertise: Maintain deep technical knowledge of arenaflex Cloud Security products and demonstrate solution benefits in client and partner environments. Stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and security best practices relevant to cloud environments.
• Technical Presentations & Validation: Lead compelling technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concept, and product demonstrations to clients, partners, and arenaflex Cloud Platform stakeholders.
• Messaging & Content Development: Design and deliver product messaging that highlights our solutions' value through various methods including whiteboard sessions, slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, pilot management, and request for information response documents.
• Client Engagement: Attend client sites, conferences, and industry events where relevant to build relationships, understand client needs, and position arenaflex as the security partner of choice.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with product marketing and engineering teams to stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to improvements in arenaflex Cloud security products and features.
• Security Leadership: Guide clients in finding the right technology solutions and advise on the most effective approaches to achieve and maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Problem Resolution: Provide hands-on technical support to resolve complex security issues, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth implementation of arenaflex security solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or cloud domains in a customer-facing or technical sales engineering role.
• Experience with cybersecurity matters such as threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a systematic approach to analyzing and resolving technical issues.
• Proficiency in explaining complex technical concepts in clear, understandable language to clients at all levels.
• Familiarity with cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid cloud).

• Experience implementing enterprise security solutions including threat detection and hunting, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems.
• Knowledge of broad product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, attack patterns, zero trust architectures, etc.).
