Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java‑based backend services that support arenaflex’s customer support platform.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs, micro‑services, and data pipelines using Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Architect and optimize database solutions (both SQL and NoSQL) to handle high‑volume transactional workloads.
  • Write clean, test‑driven code and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold arenaflex’s engineering standards.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production incidents, and proactively improve reliability and latency.
  • Lead the design of secure, fault‑tolerant services that comply with industry‑standard security practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Core Java Skills: Deep understanding of Java 8+ and the Java ecosystem, including concurrency, collections, and JVM tuning.
  • Framework Expertise: Proven experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and building RESTful services.
  • Database Proficiency: Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • API Development: Hands‑on experience creating, documenting, and versioning APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
