  • Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues using Jenkins, GitHub, and Kubernetes/OpenShift dashboards, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Automate testing and validation of data pipelines with Python and Java, parsing logs to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Support post‑go‑live operations by partnering with the production support team, providing timely incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
  • Engage with data providers to clarify requirements, remove blockers, and ensure seamless data ingestion.
  • Drive automation of repetitive tasks, contributing to a culture of efficiency and innovation.
  • Document data models, pipeline architecture, and operational procedures to maintain institutional knowledge.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align with team goals and deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, supporting broader data engineering initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience with relational databases (SQL/PLSQL) and scripting languages (Python, Shell).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Understanding of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, capable of diagnosing issues before they impact downstream processes.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
