We are accepting applications for an Individual Giving Coordinator whose primary responsibility will be to support the work of a growing development program. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and eager to gain experience in working with individual donors. This position involves managing the individual giving program, coordinating various fundraising efforts, and maintaining relationships with major donors. Compensation and Benefits

  • This position lasts at least 6-9 months with a commitment of 5-10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an effective donor retention strategy.
  • Create and implement strategies for donor solicitation to grow annual revenue from individuals.
  • Monitor all prospect contacts to ensure positive donor relations.
  • Manage major donor giving circles, including cultivation and solicitations.
  • Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle, from initial contact to solicitation closure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of fundraising experience
  • Ability to attend two-hour weekly team meetings on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings
  • Must comply with the Association of Fundraising Professionals Donor Bill of Rights and Code of Ethical Principles and Standards
