Key Responsibilities

  • Database Maintenance: Keep the employee and customer databases up‑to‑date, ensuring every record reflects the latest information and adheres to arenaflex’s data‑quality standards.
  • Daily Data Updates: Input new data, amend existing entries, and verify the accuracy of information on a daily basis, using Microsoft Excel, Access, or other database tools.
  • Error Detection & Correction: Review incoming data for deficiencies, resolve inconsistencies, and document any corrections made to maintain audit trails.
  • Document Digitization: Convert paper documents into electronic formats via data entry or optical scanning, guaranteeing that all files are searchable and properly indexed.
  • File Retrieval & Log Management: Respond to internal requests for file access, maintain detailed logs of borrowed or accessed documents, and ensure timely return of physical files.
  • Filing System Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve an efficient filing architecture that simplifies both updating and retrieving records.
  • Cross‑Department Coordination: Collaborate with HR, Finance, Sales, and other departments to gather missing information, clarify data points, and confirm the authenticity of source documents.
  • Compliance & Security: Apply data‑protection protocols, uphold confidentiality agreements, and follow arenaflex’s security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline data‑entry workflows, recommend automation tools, and contribute to best‑practice documentation.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Data Entry Operator certification is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a data entry, file clerk, or similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel, Word, and Outlook—and familiarity with database applications such as Access or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥70 wpm) with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data integrity, confidentiality, and security best practices.
  • Experience operating office equipment (photocopiers, scanners, multi‑function devices) and managing electronic filing systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
