What You Will Contribute To Our Information Security leadership team understands that security is a first priority for our business, partners, and customers. Today, as cyberattacks increase and compliance is more rigorously enforced, we need experienced leaders to guide Information Security Analysts, Managers and Specialists by providing leadership and training based on a deep understanding of Information Security opportunities. This position will lead the Identity Control and Verification team that reports into the Identity Lifecycle Management department. As the head of this team that includes Security Specialists, Managers and Technical Professionals, you will be responsible for driving excellence in identity and access management across the organization while ensuring arenaflex maintains the highest standards of security compliance.

What You'll Do

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for: Strategic Leadership and Vision: Providing leadership and strategic vision around Identity and Access Management for internal partners and contingent workers with a specific focus on ensuring that arenaflex continues to deliver minimum privilege access across all systems and applications. You will develop and implement IAM strategies that align with business objectives while maintaining robust security Postures. Team Management and Development: Leading a team of Information Security Analysts, Managers, and Specialists in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide meaningful insights and recommendations. You will be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing your team members to reach their full potential while building a high-performance culture. Control Management: Ensuring the ongoing operation and effectiveness of key Identity and Access Management controls, such as Access Reviews and Recertification Cycles. You will establish best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement: Identifying potential opportunities to reduce friction by driving the team to design solutions that proactively reduce the need for human intervention in IAM controls. You will leverage automation and innovative technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with different teams within Information Security to ensure IAM controls are part of a defense-in-depth strategy that protects arenaflex customers, partners and investors from Information Security risks. You will work closely with other security teams to create a unified security posture. Team Growth and Development: Leading and training a team of experienced Information Security Specialists to ensure their continued growth and contribution. You will implement career development programs and create pathways for professional advancement within the organization. Executive Communication: Presenting complex technical information to executive leadership in a clear and concise manner. Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining deep understanding of the audit and regulatory environment of financial institutions. Ensuring all IAM processes and controls meet or exceed regulatory requirements and are ready for internal and external audits. Who You Are We are looking for an experienced leader with: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or other related field, or has comparable work experience. An advanced degree is preferred but not required. Experience: At least 3 years in a job primarily focused on Information Security, with a strong track record of protecting sensitive data and managing security risks. At least 3 years in an immediate leadership position with a history of training and leading others in professional development. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management. Ability to see all aspects of the Identity and Access Management lifecycle, including the risks and vulnerabilities associated with each phase. Experience with identity governance, access certification, privileged access management, and multi-factor authentication systems. Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Specifically, the ability to lead a team to develop those skills. You should be able to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions under pressure. Talent Development: Capacity to recruit and grow talent within Information Security with a particular focus on using employee leadership to drive engagement of direct reports. Experience building and managing high-performing teams. Adaptability: Capacity to adapt in a technically complex and fast-changing environment and to respond calmly and judiciously to changing expectations in a deadline-driven circumstance. Comfortable working in ambiguity and leading through change. Executive Presence: Capacity to manage up through executive presence by simplifying complex details into findings and recommendations that can be actioned. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the audit and regulatory environment of financial institutions. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Risk Management: Experience with risk management frameworks such as NIST and regulatory frameworks like PCI. Understanding of how to implement and maintain compliance with these standards.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly valued but not required: Certifications: CISSP, CISM or other related Information Security certifications demonstrate advanced knowledge and commitment to the profession. Process Improvement: Six Sigma or other related analysis certifications show expertise in process improvement and operational excellence methodologies.

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you should possess: Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IAM technologies including Identity Providers (IdP), Access Management solutions, and directory services. Familiarity with cloud-based IAM architectures and hybrid environments. Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret security metrics and create actionable recommendations. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term IAM strategies that align with business goals while addressing emerging security threats. Stakeholder Management: Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups including executive leadership, business unit managers, and technical teams. Ability to build consensus and drive alignment. Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
