Job Title: Remote Social Media Manager Job Type: Part-Time | Independent Contractor About the Role: A growing medical spa and aesthetics business based in Los Angeles is seeking a creative and trend-aware Social Media Manager to support content creation, social media management, and brand visibility across digital platforms. This role will focus primarily on creating engaging social media content for Instagram, including Reels, testimonials, educational content, and visual storytelling aligned with the aesthetics and wellness industry. The ideal candidate is highly creative, understands social media trends, and has experience working with beauty, aesthetics, skincare, wellness, or medical spa brands. The position will work closely with the business owner to organize content strategy, maintain a consistent social presence, and help increase engagement and visibility while working with remotely provided assets and materials. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Content Creation Create engaging social media content including Reels, videos, testimonials, and promotional posts Edit short-form video content optimized for Instagram and social platforms Organize and repurpose existing photo and video assets into marketing content Maintain visually cohesive and on-brand social media content Social Media Management & Scheduling Schedule and publish social media content consistently Support content planning and posting calendars Assist with maintaining organized content workflows and content libraries Monitor content performance and engagement trends Brand & Marketing Support Support social media campaigns, promotions, and visibility initiatives Assist with creating educational and visually appealing aesthetics-related content Help strengthen brand positioning within the beauty and wellness industry Ensure content aligns with the clinic’s visual identity and messaging Trend Research & Content Strategy Research social media trends, audio trends, and viral content formats Suggest content ideas, content pillars, and engagement strategies Stay updated on trends within the aesthetics, beauty, and wellness industries Support continuous improvement of social media performance Team Collaboration & Communication Work closely with the business owner during weekly check-ins Collaborate remotely using provided assets and materials Maintain organized communication and project coordination Adapt content strategies based on business goals and feedback Qualifications & Ideal Traits: Must-Have Previous experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or Video Editor Strong experience creating Instagram Reels and short-form video content Excellent understanding of Instagram trends, engagement, and content strategy Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing platforms Strong visual storytelling and creative editing skills Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Preferred Experience working with medical spas, aesthetics, beauty, skincare, or wellness brands Familiarity with aesthetic-focused content and beauty industry marketing Experience creating testimonial-based or educational social media content Knowledge of content planning and social media growth strategies Portfolio showcasing beauty, wellness, or visual-focused content preferred Working Environment: Fully remote role Part-time position starting at 4 hours per day Flexible schedule with weekly check-ins Creative and fast-paced marketing environment Opportunity to scale hours and responsibilities over time Collaborative and growth-focused business environment Apply To This Job
