Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage experienced chemistry professionals for a specialized rubric-writing initiative. This project supports the development of advanced AI systems by ensuring high-quality, factual assessment standards for chemistry questions. This is a flexible, remote, short-term opportunity ideal for non-organic chemistry specialists.

• * * ### Key Responsibilities - Review, validate, and answer advanced chemistry questions - Develop factual, objective rubrics to evaluate solutions - Ensure content adheres to academic accuracy and domain relevance
• * * ### Ideal Qualifications - Master’s degree or PhD in chemistry or related field - 2+ years of experience in research, teaching, or applied chemistry - Strong expertise in non-organic chemistry domains (e.g., physical, analytical, inorganic) - Familiarity with undergraduate and graduate chemistry curricula - Meticulous attention to detail and clarity in scientific writing - Experience finding sources and doing research to back up answers
