Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in KS
A contract position is available for speech-language pathologists with expertise in telespeech and teletherapy to support preschool caseloads during the 2026-2027 school year. These roles assist districts in Southern Kansas by delivering remote speech-language services to young learners, focusing on early intervention and development. Locations: Columbus, KS Contract Duration: 2026-2027 School Year Positions: Two openings one 15-hour weekly role and one 22.5-hour weekly role Caseload: Preschool students Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to preschool-aged children
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individual treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation according to state guidelines
- Utilize technology platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions
- Support district goals by addressing communication disorders impacting early childhood development
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience delivering telespeech or teletherapy services within educational settings
- Familiarity with preschool speech and language development
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively
