Role Overview – Why This Position Matters

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Data Entry & Supply Chain Analytics Specialist to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will be the analytical backbone that ensures our store network runs smoothly, inventory is accurately tracked, and process improvements are continuously identified and implemented. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Data Management & Analysis

  • Collect, cleanse, and validate large volumes of supply‑chain data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform data mining and advanced analysis using SQL, Google BigQuery, Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real‑time visibility into inventory levels, stock‑out incidents, and fulfillment performance.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and operational teams in clear, business‑focused language.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the end‑to‑end supply‑chain flow—from supplier to store shelf—and propose data‑driven solutions.
  • Lead execution audits of merchandising, distribution, and supplier processes, documenting gaps and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with partners to design and implement streamlined workflows that improve in‑stock rates, reduce lead times, and lower operational costs.
  • Drive lean‑methodology initiatives, including end‑to‑end cost modeling, waste reduction, and process standardization.

Cross‑Functional Partnership & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams, translating operational challenges into data‑centric problem statements.
  • Facilitate regular communication loops with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to align on performance metrics and improvement plans.
  • Coach and mentor teams on best practices for data handling, analysis, and interpretation, fostering a culture of data literacy.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Google BigQuery, Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau (or similar data‑visualization tools). Experience with data‑prep tools such as DataPrep is a plus.
