In this role, you'll: Support the management, coordination and delivery of strategic programs and initiatives within the Natural Disaster and Resilience business unit, building resilience into roads for the benefit of our customers and communities across NSW. The role requires project management, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and administrative leadership across multiple workstreams to ensure successful integration of disaster recovery and resilience-building initiatives across the NSW road network. The Program Advisor will also be responsible for:

  • Providing executive-level support and coordination, working both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Researching, preparing reports and analyses, identifying impacts, and helping resolve issues by working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting in developing and managing frameworks for programs and projects.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project and program decisions, sharing information efficiently, and identifying risks to implement effective solutions and controls.

This is ongoing full-time position located at Newcastle. This role can be filled through remote working and can be based anywhere in New South Wales. You may be required to attend face-to-face meetings at your local TfNSW office. For more information on this role and business unit, view the role description and information pack. About you You hold relevant tertiary qualifications or have equivalent industry experience in program governance, integration, or project management, with proven expertise across asset management, program development, and project delivery. You also have technical or engineering experience with program, project, planning and analytical abilities. You are curious and creative, able to work confidently in highly sensitive and confidential environments, such as legal, financial or regulatory. You are skilled at managing stakeholders and negotiating effectively. You are forward-thinking and adaptable, using your innovative mindset to embrace new ideas, technologies, and different ways to solve problems. You are experienced working in teams under tight deadlines and have a proven track record of delivering projects and programs.
