Customer Delivery Engineer Main Duties and Responsibilities OMS+ and IA customer delivery — hands-on technical delivery, configuration, and support for customers deploying and operating DataXstream's OMS+ and IA products on SAP BTP across on-premises private cloud and public cloud environments BTP subaccount and environment management — setup, configuration, and operational support of customer BTP subaccounts, Cloud Foundry spaces, and service bindings for OMS+ and IA deployments SSO and identity configuration — SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS) federation setup and maintenance as part of OMS+ and IA product delivery, ensuring customers have a consistent, secure single sign-on experience within their product environments SAP Cloud Connector — configuring and maintaining the secure tunnel between customer on-premises systems and BTP for OMS+ and IA hybrid deployments Customer-facing support and escalation — working directly with customers and partners to diagnose and resolve OMS+ and IA platform issues on BTP, with the CPE team as your technical backstop Delivery documentation — authoring runbooks and delivery patterns that make OMS+ and IA customer engagements repeatable and reduce single-engineer dependency Participation in CPE on-call rotation for customer-facing incident response Cross-Coverage Responsibilities DataXstream is committed to eliminating single points of failure across the CPE team. This role is expected to develop working knowledge of the Platform & Internal Systems Engineer's domain sufficient to provide continuity during absence. Familiarity with SAP Cloud Logging Service (CLS) setup and migration procedures — ability to maintain progress on active migrations Basic BTP Cloud Foundry internal environment awareness — ability to identify operational issues and escalate appropriately General internal platform operations awareness — sufficient to provide triage on active initiatives Must-Have Skills and Qualifications Foundational interest in cloud and enterprise platform technology — curiosity about how cloud platforms work and how applications are built and operated on them Any exposure to SAP BTP, SAP technologies, or enterprise cloud platforms — through coursework, personal projects, internship, or early professional experience; we will build BTP expertise on the job Familiarity with identity and SSO concepts — understanding of how single sign-on and identity federation work, even at a conceptual level Awareness of hybrid connectivity concepts — understanding the difference between on-premises private cloud and public cloud deployments and how systems connect across them Comfort engaging with customers and partners in a technical capacity — clear, calm communication under pressure Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for customer-facing incident response Documentation-first mindset — you write things down as you figure them out Fluent English level What We Value Curiosity — you want to understand the platform, not just make the ticket go away Ownership — when something is yours to deliver, you see it through Communication — you keep customers and teammates informed, especially when things get complicated Growth mindset — every customer engagement teaches you something; you pay attention to those lessons Collaboration — you ask the team when you're stuck and you share what you learn

Any SAP BTP exposure — BTP Cockpit, Cloud Foundry, BTP services, or SAP Integration Suite Familiarity with SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS) or identity federation concepts (SAML, OIDC) Exposure to SAP Cloud Connector or hybrid connectivity concepts SAP BTP certification or active pursuit of one Exposure to Kubernetes or container-based platforms Familiarity with observability tools: logging, monitoring, and alerting Hyperscaler exposure (Azure or AWS) — all resources provision through BTP but cloud fundamentals are useful context Personal cloud or homelab projects Exposure to CAB or change process management — BTP delivery changes can affect customer environments downstream; familiarity with structured change management processes is a plus Familiarity with Atlassian tools — Jira for project management, Bitbucket for source control, and Bamboo for CI/CD Experience using company-approved AI tools to increase personal productivity and delivery efficiency DataXstream LLC is an equal-opportunity workplace and an affirmative-action employer.
