We are looking to dominate our industry in the social media space and for that we are looking to hire a driven, detail oriented, and creative Youtube Video Editing Specialist to join our growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes YouTube! Someone deeply passionate about editing, visual storytelling, and constantly finding ways to make content better. A day in the life of a Video Editing Specialist: Workdays: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends if behind on work) Hours: 8AM–5PM (Central Time) OT often needed based on workload/deadlines (3-5 hrs) Edit long form YouTube videos (primary focus) Assist and collaborate with short form video editing for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok as needed Collaborate with the creative team including video editors, graphic designers, and content coordinators on content ideas Research YouTube trends, competitors, and algorithm changes Monitor and analyze YouTube analytics to improve performance Organize and maintain content libraries in Google Drive and Google Photos Upload and manage long form YouTube content Help contribute ideas that improve content quality, engagement, and growth What WolfSteel has to offer: Supportive leadership teams that will prepare you to succeed Endless opportunities for advancement within a growing empire Work that directly impacts company growth and client experience Hands on experience in a fast paced creative environment Opportunity to help build one of the strongest construction brands online Things to bring to the table: Can Do attitude Self driven mindset with a desire to constantly improve Openness to feedback and coaching Ability to adapt in a fast moving creative environment Willingness to test new editing styles and ideas Skill Set: Experience editing YouTube content Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention Ability to visionize and strategize a video plan Familiarity with YouTube culture and trends Understanding of YouTube analytics and performance metrics Organized and detail oriented Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (Required) Understanding of short form content strategies is a plus Requirements: Familiarity with YouTube culture and trends Passion for content creation and continuous growth Proficiency in video editing platforms: Adobe CapCut Basic knowledge of visual storytelling principles, color theory, typography, and composition Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines Communication with cross functional teams to take feedback and translate ideas into content Adaptability to learn new tools and creative trends Salary: $8.50 USD/hour ($17,500 - $31,000+ annually) paired with strong commission Plus overtime Plus, strong monthly commission with no cap (commission after training period) Our current team is EASILY averaging $800+ monthly commission & ONLY working 40-43 hours per week!
