Account Manager
Angie Sue Brown Agency is a community-focused State Farm office located in Atlanta, GA, dedicated to providing personalized insurance and financial services. The Account Manager will be responsible for advising customers on coverage options, applying effective sales practices, building lasting relationships, becoming an industry expert, and staying active in the community.
Responsibilities
- Quoting coverage that meets customer needs: Advise new customers on the right coverage options and help tailor policies to protect what they’ve worked hard to build. You will be able to quote and recommend coverage across auto, home, life, health, businesses, and more, using 100+ product options
- Applying effective sales practices: Call on active leads, speak with individuals who are seeking insurance, and follow up with prospects you’ve contacted. You will need to meet monthly sales requirements
- Building lasting relationships: We’re not focused only on price comparisons. You will develop personal relationships with customers and maintain long-term trust
- Becoming an industry expert: No prior insurance knowledge is required. We provide training and resources to help you develop the skills needed to become a true professional
- Staying active in the community: Participate in marketing and community events such as business donations, festivals, home shows, and visits to referral sources
Skills
- 1–3+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task, stay organized, and prioritize effectively
- Interested in long-term career growth, including the possibility of owning a business within 3+ years
- Community-driven mindset with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to collaborate with a team to achieve shared goals
- Self-motivated with a commitment to personal and professional development
- Able to thrive in a small office environment
- Ability to pass a background check
- Currently licensed (or willing to become licensed) in Property & Casualty and Life & Health prior to starting employment
