QualCode, Inc. is seeking reputed company medical coders across multiple specialties to support upcoming client initiatives. - Professional Fee Coders (Mental Health Specialty)
- Outpatient Coders
- Clinic Coders
- Same Day Surgery Coders (Observation)
- Emergency Room (ER) Coders
Key Responsibilities
- Assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and/or CPT/HCPCS codes based on medical documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, payer guidelines, and coding standards
- Maintain established productivity and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Meet turnaround times and project expectations
Additional Details
- Full-time, temporary/project-based position (anticipated duration: 5–9 months)
- Projected start timeframe: Mid-to-late June
- Schedule based on project needs (TBD)
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
Required Qualifications
- Active certification required (RHIT, RHIA, reputed company, reputed company-P, CPC)
- Minimum of 2+ years of specialty-specific coding experience
- Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, reimbursement methodologies, and compliance standards
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong attention to detail
