Your Role and Core Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as a trusted liaison between our clients and the patients, members, and families they serve. Your primary goal will be to provide accurate, timely, and compassionate support through multiple communication channels. Every day, you will make a difference by helping individuals understand their benefits, resolve concerns, and access the care they need.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Connecting with Customers Across Multiple Channels – Engage with patients, members, and providers via phone, email, live chat, and social media platforms to answer questions, address concerns, and provide information about healthcare services, billing, coverage, and care options.
  • Resolving and De-Escalating Issues with Empathy – Many of the individuals you speak with may be experiencing stress, confusion, or frustration related to their health or coverage. You will calmly listen, validate their concerns, and work diligently to resolve their issues with professionalism and care.
  • Escalating Interactions When Appropriate – Recognize when a situation requires the expertise of a senior team member, supervisor, or specialized department. You will know when and how to escalate interactions in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer.
  • Processing Payments and Requests for Assistance – Accurately handle payment processing, billing inquiries, account updates, and other transactional requests in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Documenting All Call-Related Information – Maintain thorough and accurate records of every interaction for auditing, reporting, and quality assurance purposes. Your attention to detail will help us continuously improve our service delivery.
  • Meeting Performance Standards – Strive to consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, first-call resolution rates, and accuracy of documentation.
