We are currently expanding our remote operations team and are looking for a meticulous, dependable, and tech-savvy Remote Data Entry Clerk – Typing & Information Accuracy Specialist to support one of our valued enterprise clients based in Texas. Key Responsibilities

Data Entry and Information Processing

  • Accurately input large volumes of data into internal databases, spreadsheets, CRM platforms, and other business systems with a high degree of speed and precision.
  • Transcribe information from source documents, digital files, scanned records, and online platforms into structured digital formats.
  • Maintain consistent data formatting standards and follow established data entry protocols to ensure quality and uniformity across all records.
  • Handle batch entry tasks efficiently while maintaining the integrity and quality of every record processed.

Data Verification and Quality Assurance

  • Review, audit, and verify entered data against source documents to confirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, duplicates, and data entry errors, and take corrective action promptly.
  • Run periodic quality checks and reconciliation reports to flag anomalies and ensure the ongoing reliability of stored information.
  • Escalate unresolved or recurring data issues to the appropriate team lead with clear documentation of findings.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

  • Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to resolve data conflicts, ambiguous entries, and incomplete records.
  • Make informed decisions about how to handle missing, conflicting, or unclear data while adhering to company policies.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to data entry workflows, templates, and quality control processes.
  • Manage time effectively to balance multiple data entry projects while meeting daily and weekly productivity targets.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth data flow and accurate record-keeping.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement discussions.
  • Provide constructive feedback on data sources, templates, and system usability to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with colleagues through chat, email, and project management tools.

Confidentiality and Compliance

  • Handle sensitive client and employee information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Comply with all data protection regulations, confidentiality agreements, and internal security policies.
  • Report any potential data breaches, security concerns, or compliance issues immediately to the appropriate authority.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A foundational level of education is required. Additional certifications in administration, data management, or office technology are a plus.
  • Typing Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to type at a minimum of 45–60 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus and accuracy when handling repetitive tasks, with the ability to spot errors others might miss.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make sound decisions independently when faced with ambiguous or incomplete data.
  • Reliable Internet Connection: A stable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.
