Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Input and Maintenance: Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of data into internal databases, spreadsheets, and proprietary software systems with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Verification and Quality Assurance: Review source documents and existing records to verify the accuracy and completeness of information before and after entry, identifying any inconsistencies that require correction.
  • Regular Data Audits: Perform scheduled and ad-hoc audits of data records to identify errors, duplicates, or discrepancies, and take corrective action in a timely manner to preserve data integrity.
  • Data Cleanup and Organization Projects: Participate in ongoing initiatives to clean up, reorganize, and optimize legacy data sets, contributing to improved system performance and usability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure that data entry tasks are completed accurately and on schedule, and to clarify any ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Confidentiality and Security Compliance: Handle all sensitive information, including protected health information (PHI) and other confidential records, in strict accordance with company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate basic reports, summaries, and documentation related to data entry activities, errors encountered, and completed work as requested by management.
  • Process Improvement Feedback: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows and recommend improvements to supervisors and process owners.
  • Adaptability to Changing Priorities: Adjust focus and reprioritize tasks as business needs evolve, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. An associate degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is a plus.
