Marketing Analyst, SEO

Assignment Overview: This assignment focuses on driving organic growth and visibility for assigned brands and experiences on homedepot.com by analyzing website performance and applying SEO best practices. The assignment is responsible for identifying and implementing optimization strategies that improve keyword competitiveness, enhance priority brand visibility, and strengthen department‑specific customer journeys. Assignment Length: 12 months Hourly Rate: $30-50 Assignment Tasks:

  • SEO Strategy and Analysis – Monitor keyword and site performance; conduct research to identify opportunities to increase organic traffic and content visibility.
  • Project Planning and Implementation – Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to plan, prioritize, and implement SEO optimizations.
  • Cross‑functional Partnership – Engage key stakeholders and business partners to align on opportunities, risks, and strategic priorities; share brand insights. Represent SEO and ensure SEO metrics are understood and prioritized within broader workstreams.
  • Reporting & Measurement – Track brand performance, measure the impact of SEO initiatives, and deliver data‑driven insights for continued improvement.
  • Professional Development and Process Improvement – Stay current on SEO industry trends and incorporate new strategies into existing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with enterprise‑level SEO, preferably within a retail or e‑commerce environment
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for SEO, prioritize work within a matrixed environment, and measure optimization impact
  • Hands‑on experience with SEO best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and surface insights
  • Experience using enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
