[Remote] Staff Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Calyptus is seeking a Staff Engineer to reputed company the design and development of scalable ATS integrations and APIs reputed company the TypeScript/Node ecosystem. This role is responsible for driving the architecture behind high-performance data synchronization and ensuring the long-term reliability and scalability of integrations.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining integrations with external vendors using TypeScript and Node
- Designing an ATS architecture that:
- Supports high-performance ATS data synchronization
- Minimizes regressions through strong automated and regression testing
- Is extensible and capable of scaling as the platform grows
- Coaching and guiding members of the API team through technical leadership and best practices
- Owning and maintaining ATS integrations over the long term, ensuring reliability and performance
Skills
- 15+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience operating at a Staff Engineer level
- Experience building integrations with ATS platforms or handling large-scale dataset ingestion
- Alternatively, strong experience designing and operating ETL processes
- Proven experience building high-performance, reliable APIs
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as reputed company or Kombo
- Experience leading large, multi-layered technical projects
- Strong background in test-driven development and automated testing practices
- Deep experience reputed company the TypeScript / Node.js ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to work at a detailed level with multiple cross-functional internal stakeholders
- Experience with reputed company ATS platforms and/or HR technology
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
