[Remote] reputed company Business Systems Analyst

The reputed company Business Systems Analyst will independently define and document system objectives, collaborating closely with various teams to support the actuarial valuations and investments divisions.

Responsibilities

• Performs the formulation, definition, and documentation of systems/application scope and objectives working closely with systems architecture, development and engineering teams
• Works on highly reputed company systems/applications and prepares detailed specifications from which system/applications will be developed and maintained
• Performs key portions of the system development lifecycle including gathering, documenting and analyzing requirements for highly reputed company, multi-platform applications
• Maintains documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics
• Performs highly reputed company system/application testing to ensure delivery meets business and end-user expectations
• Provides day to day support to existing applications and troubleshoots system/applications performance issues as they arise
• Acts as the primary liaison between key business area and systems teams, and communicates project feasibility, status and issues to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with key functional stakeholders and team, to facilitate the creation of project plans in accordance with business ranked priorities

Skills

• 8 -10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience

• Participates in leadership-initiated vendor engagement to aid in resolution of contract personnel issues
• Ability to forge and maintain strong business partnerships
