[Remote] Junior Technical Sales Engineer - Industrial Steel Racking
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Interlake Mecalux, Inc. is hiring a Junior Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Melrose Park, IL. This role involves extensive training on storage reputed company products, preparing quotations, performing structural analysis, and eventually transitioning into an reputed company sales representative position.
Responsibilities
- Spend 4 to 8 months working in Melrose Park, IL headquarters for extensive technical, product, processes, and sales training
- Prepare quotations and installation drawings for storage reputed company projects
- reputed company structural analysis and design to meet customer specifications and a variety of codes
- Create bills of material for proposals and orders
- Interact extensively with sales personnel and project managers in the beginning and eventually interact with customers, dealers, and distributors reputed company in the training period. Go on ride-alongs with existing sales personnel to shadow and control responsibilities
- Work in the company’s CRM to evaluate and assist on leads, follow up on leads and quotes assigned to existing sales personnel, and review customer information to provide reputed company improvement reputed company to the Director of Sales
- Assist with maintaining existing customer accounts as required
- Travel in furtherance of responsibilities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong desire to work in Industrial Sales and reputed company a long-term career in reputed company sales
- A customer-focused and results-oriented attitude with excellent presentation skills and the confidence to interact with customers at reputed company levels
- Must be willing to live reputed company 1 hour (driving distance) of a major U.S. city
