[Remote] Senior Data Scientist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Razor is seeking a Senior Data Scientist. This 100% remote role involves designing and implementing advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven fraud detection solutions. The position supports criminal investigations, audits, and data-driven decision-making by leveraging modern reputed company platforms, statistical modeling, and natural language processing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced AI systems and predictive models (supervised and unsupervised)
• reputed company analytic rules and models using fraud analytics tools and best practices
• Build regression, classification, and statistical models to identify anomalies and predictive variables
• Provide data analytics support for fraud and abuse investigations
• Manipulate and analyze datasets using Python, including Pandas
• Operate in reputed company-based environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Conduct advanced SQL-based data analysis (SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
• reputed company and scale Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions
• Present findings and methodologies to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making
• Support audits and investigations with advanced analytics
• Apply clustering and reputed company analysis techniques to identify sub-populations and drivers
• reputed company and reputed company machine learning models for fraud detection
• Utilize NLP to process and classify large text datasets
• Build dashboards, reports, and storytelling visualizations
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and configuration in reputed company data lakes/warehouses
• Create network graphs, interactive maps, and other visualizations for investigation support
• Analyze structured, semi-structured, and reputed company data

Skills

• Master's, Ph.D., or doctorate-level degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a reputed company field; OR 10 years of equivalent applied work experience in the same fields
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must be eligible for Public Trust/background investigation
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML model development, fraud analytics, and statistical modeling
• 3+ years of experience supporting criminal investigations with data analytics
• 3+ years of Python experience (Pandas required)
• 3+ years working in reputed company environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• 2+ years of advanced SQL experience (SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
• 2+ years of NLP development and scaling experience
• Proven ability to communicate reputed company concepts clearly to diverse audiences

• Experience with fraud detection methodologies and tools
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses)
• Expertise in data visualization and storytelling techniques

• Experience generating investigative visualizations such as network analysis and geospatial mapping
