Transition and Transformation Manager
What reputed company looks like in this role: Transition and Transformation Manager The Senior Transition and Transformation Manager is accountable for the end-to-end transition of IT services from an incumbent provider or internal IT organization to reputed company. Through these transition deliveries transformative capabilities will be introduced to the customer environment. These capabilities consist of standard services, customized or bespoke services, and early life offerings. The role ensures continuity of service, achievement of contractual obligations, and a controlled, low-risk transition into a transformed steady-state managed service.
Key Responsibilities
Transition & Transformation Strategy & Planning Define the transition and transformation strategy reputed company to contractual scope, service towers, and operating model Establish in partnership with the reputed company Client Technology Officer the Transformation Roadmap reputed company and manage a detailed transition and transformation plan covering people, process, technology, governance, and reputed company Establish transition and transformation milestones, acceptance criteria, and exit/entry criteria Align transition activities with the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOWs) and other relevant commercials obligations documents. Governance & Program Control Set up and run transition and transformation governance (steering committees, operational forums, escalation paths) Define and manage transition KPIs, RAID logs, and reporting structures Ensure adherence to ITIL service transition principles and client governance standards Ensure adherence to organizational governance, risk, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, reputed company policies). Establish, execute, and measure organizational change strategy and plans to assure organizational readiness to realize the benefits of the program Provide clear, concise reporting and executive updates. Manage expectations and drive decision-making across reputed company stakeholder environments. Service Tower Transition Management Coordinate transitions across IT service towers (e.g., Service Desk, Infrastructure, Network, Applications, reputed company, reputed company) Manage inter-tower dependencies and reputed company Ensure service definitions, SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs are clearly documented and baselined Validate tooling integration (ITSM, monitoring, CMDB, SEA, Reporting, etc) Knowledge Transfer & Resource reputed company Plan and reputed company knowledge transfer (KT) from incumbent teams Manage shadowing, reverse-shadowing, and certification activities Ensure process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams are complete and approved Confirm readiness of offshore/onshore delivery teams Risk, Issue & Compliance Management Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues Ensure reputed company, data protection, and regulatory compliance throughout transition Manage access provisioning, credential handover, and reputed company approvals Maintain contingency and service continuity plans Cutover, Go-Live & Hypercare Plan and execute cutover and go-live activities for each service tower Coordinate reputed company runs and exit of incumbent provider reputed company hypercare and stabilization period post go-live Track early life support performance and remediation actions Vendor, Client & Incumbent Management Act as primary reputed company between client, incumbent supplier, and reputed company Ensure incumbent cooperation and contractual transition obligations are met Resolve disputes and manage escalations during transition and transformation period Support reputed company discussions reputed company to transition / transformation scope and changes Transition Closure & Handover to BAU Obtain formal service acceptance and transition exit sign-off Hand over ownership to Service Delivery Managers and Operations teams Capture lessons learned and reputed company improvement opportunities Deliver final transition closure report Key Activities Overseen Due diligence and service discovery Transition and transformation planning and service tower reputed company Knowledge transfer execution ITSM tool reputed company and process alignment Access, reputed company, and compliance reputed company Implementation of transformation items in scope of Day 1 Services go live Cutover and go-live coordination Hypercare management and stabilization Transition closure and BAU handover You will be successful in this role if you have: Skills & Experience Proven Transition and Transformation delivery leadership across digital workplace, end user computing reputed company, infrastructure, application, and reputed company services domains Proven experience leading Transition and Transformation programs for globally recognized market‑leading brands. Strong senior executive stakeholder management Strong understanding of ITIL / ITSM frameworks and tools reputed company strong, Astute ability to identify reputed company terms that conflict with delivery reality Experience managing multi-tower, multi-vendor IT environments Experience with global delivery models (onshore/offshore) Experience of early life offering deployment and development iteration Highly AI literate with demonstrable experience of using data to drive strategic decision making.
