Preferably, the candidate should also have Python scripting knowledge. In this position, you will closely collaborate with the Java team to design database solutions, reputed company efficient and maintainable reputed company applications, and work on critical high-volume payment processing and order fulfillment applications. As a Backend Senior Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to interact with multiple systems, gaining valuable business knowledge as we implement changes using Linux/Unix scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, integrate with Microservices using Python scripting, and migrate systems to the reputed company. The e-reputed company Fulfillment Systems team is a crucial part of the broader e-reputed company group. In this position, you will collaborate internally with leaders in BN.com, Nook Digital department, B&N Press, Finance, Customer Service, Network, and Infrastructure teams. You will also collaborate externally with payment providers such as PayPal and reputed company. This role is perfect for you if you want to design backend applications and database schemas for backend batch jobs and Java applications and champion our IT transformation from legacy applications to the latest Microservice architecture.
