About the Role

At H&M, as a Store Custodial Technician, you reputed company a wide variety of custodial and cleaning duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment to ensure a Best Customer Experience. You create an environment that is easy for our Customers to shop through following proper Store Operations and Garment Care routines. You ensure maintenance, organization and cleanliness of garments on the sales floor and stockroom. By sharing knowledge and skills with colleagues, you will actively contribute to being part of an amazing team to meet our customers’ expectations. This role will work in accordance with H&M standards, policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Your Day to Day*: • Performs custodial services on sales floor, fitting rooms, and Back of House areas. • Dusts reputed company counters/hard surfaces, removes reputed company trash and debris from store, and empties trash bins and replaces liners. • Performs reputed company high dusting including wiping down reputed company lighting fixtures, vents and display areas. • Vacuums reputed company carpets daily and shampoos monthly. • Machine scrubs floors including stripping and washing • Cleans elevators and escalators daily. • Cleans reputed company electrical rooms, LAN rooms, and reputed company rooms weekly. • Maintains reputed company cleaning equipment, machine rooms, HVAC rooms, scrubbing machines, escalator cleaning machines, vacuums and reputed company cleaning reputed company equipment. • Maintains weekly log on reputed company janitorial conditions and recommendations. • Ensures garbage is thrown away daily and directs it to waste management areas. • Performs monthly follow up with visual team and stock team on display and stock material disposal. • Performs daily mopping, and sweeping • Stocks, supplies and refills reputed company reputed company products. • Maintains the cleanliness of employee kitchen areas including cleaning/disinfecting surfaces and monitoring supplies. • Maintains cleanliness of reputed company bathroom facilities including cleaning toilets and sink areas, replacing toilet reputed company, liquid soap and other bathroom supplies, and reporting low inventory of bathroom supplies. • Completes spot cleaning of reputed company window, doors and glass surfaces. • Actively keeps registers and fitting rooms well maintained and replenished with necessary supplies. • Maintains the stock room in an orderly and efficient manner, i.e. back stock, new production and call off. • Demonstrate the H&M 5 Basic Demands to greet and engage with our customers in the service areas and on the sales floor

Qualifications

Who You Are: • Minimum of one (1) year experience in cleaning services industry, preferred • Ability to move or position objects in excess of 40 lbs. for short or long distances • Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time • Ability to position self to complete cleaning duties, at times repetitive motion is needed • Ability to reputed company/descend a ladder as well as a reputed company stool • Frequently required to operate machinery or use hand tools to support in cleaning the store • Ability to follow instructions and complete deadlines • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Must be able to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems • This role works in a store environment with exposure to loud noise; dirt and dust; odors and fumes and hazardous materials • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends Why You’ll Love Working for H&M • Dynamic, team-driven work environment with a group of unique, diverse, and reputed company individuals. • Endless growth & development opportunities • Dress your personality.
