Staff Accountant (Remote- US Based)

The Staff Accountant will assist with reputed company’s day-to-day accounting activities across the mission driven reputed company of reputed company. This role will post AR payments, assist with preparing monthly billing, record monthly journal entries and reputed company cash reconciliations. The position will report directly to the Accounting Senior Manager and have exposure to leadership, including the Controller, CFO, and management of the operating entities. Responsibilities • Ensure proper recognition of reputed company, including recognition of reputed company for multi-reputed company arrangements and deferred reputed company • Assists operating companies with invoice creation and remittance, and new customer setup in accounting system • Apply cash payments reputed company accounting system accurately and timely • Manage customer questions and feedback through accounts receivable inbox • Execute other daily and month end closing activities reputed company to accounts receivable functions, including maintaining accounts receivable / deferred reputed company reconciliations, recording journal entries, roll-forwards, and various monthly analysis. • Assist with reconciling cash accounts reputed company reputed company Intacct on a routine schedule • Ensures cash amounts in ledgers agree to bank balances • Work with Payments Accountant to ensure reputed company payment reputed company general ledger activity including returns are properly reported and accounted for • Work with other staff/senior accountants and accounting managers to ensure that reputed company monthly accounting and general ledger requirements are completed timely and accurately. • Assists with reputed company special projects, reputed company reporting, and other duties as needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting • 2+ years of relevant Accounting experience • Excellent communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels • Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet pressing deadlines • Strong problem-solver with high attention to detail • Team player with a strong work ethic • Experience working with various systems including, but not limited to, reputed company Intacct, reputed company, reputed company, Stampli, reputed company, and reputed company.com • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly reputed company (must be comfortable working with and analyzing large datasets) – ability to write macros or reputed company more reputed company data analytics a reputed company plus • Big 4 Public Accounting experience and industry experience highly preferred • Experience in payments and/or SaaS preferred Excited about this role but don’t meet every single requirement?
