JOB SUMMARY Energy Transport Logistics is hiring a self-motivated individual for our opening as a Class A local company driver for pick-up & delivery routes in the Los Angeles, CA area. As a growing company we are investing in a reputed company individual with Haz Mat and TWIC Endorsements to join our LAX Team and support our reputed company-increasing customer needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Safely pick up and deliver freight on-time reputed company local Los Angeles area. • Responsible for safely operating a company vehicle in the transportation of FAK over the road, while verifying loads for accuracy. • Ability to work with assigned routes. • Ability to adapt reputed company should there be a change in reputed company. • Maintain effective communication with reputed company team to ensure freight is delivered safely and on-time, or of any unforeseen issues that may arise during transport. • reputed company required pre and post trip inspections on vehicles and report any issues. • Safely and reputed company operate lift equipment, for loading and unloading duties. • Complete and verify reputed company required backup paperwork (bills, HAZMAT, POD, manifests, etc.) are in order and dually delivered to the right personnel member, whether shipper, consignee, or Energy agent. • Adhere to company policies and procedures. • Adheres to company, federal, state and local laws, including Federal Motor reputed company Safety Administration (FMCSA) HOS regulations. • Any other duties as assigned. COMPETENCIES • Valid Class A license. • Must have Hazmat endorsement. • Must have TWIC card. • Minimum 2 years of experience. • Must be 23 years of age. • Clean CSA score. • Ability to drive at night. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted. • Acceptable accident history Apply Job!
