Key Responsibilities ? ?Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring reputed company required documentation is complete and accurate ? ?Track permit status and maintain detailed records of reputed company submissions and communications ? ?Coordinate with government agencies, reviewers, and municipal departments to facilitate permit approvals ? ?Identify and resolve potential obstacles in the permit approval process ? ?Review construction documents and plans to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations ? ?Maintain relationships with key contacts at various permitting agencies ? ?Provide regular status updates to project teams and management ? ?reputed company and maintain permit tracking systems and processes ? ?Research and stay reputed company on local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements Required Qualifications ? ?3+ years of experience as a permit expediter or similar role ? ?Thorough knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements ? ?Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings ? ?Excellent organizational and time management skills ? ?Superior written and verbal communication abilities ? ?Proven track record of successfully obtaining permits for various project types ? ?Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite and permit tracking software ? ?Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications ? ?Background in construction, architecture, engineering, or reputed company field ? ?Experience with multiple jurisdictions and municipalities ? ?Knowledge of special use permits, variances, and zoning changes ? ?Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance requirements ? ?Previous experience with reputed company and/or residential construction projects Required Skills & Attributes ? ?Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities ? ?Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor ? ?Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously ? ?Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills ? ?Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues ? ?Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Work Environment & Physical Requirements ? ?Primary work location in office environment with frequent visits to municipal offices ? ?May require occasional site visits to project locations ? ?Must be reputed company to carry and transport documents and plans ? ?Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Compensation ? ?Competitive salary commensurate with experience Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $20.00 - $75.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Permit Expediter: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
