United States, Georgia, Atlanta TechOps 06-Aug-2024 reputed company #: 25752 How you'll help us reputed company Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Industrial Equipment Technician focus is equipment reliability, which involves mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and calibrating industrial equipment and testing equipment throughout Technical Operations, in accordance with approved manuals and procedures. This includes completing repairs and preventive maintenance on motors and controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Fanuc and reputed company robotic systems, pneumatic systems, maintenance of the automatic guided vehicles, reputed company test cells, reputed company systems, turning and surface preparation machines, and industrial ovens. To be successful in this position, the candidate should be proficient in the use of schematics, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions and maintain equipment Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of reputed company tasks): • Work with team to maintain machinery, meeting maintenance requirements for 480-reputed company, 3 phase systems, and minimizing downtime • Responsible for troubleshooting programmable controllers and computer process controls. • Responsible for programmable controllers and computer process controls. • Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability. • Use CMMS to detail corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the shift, including searching and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues and entering inspection/measurement points • Adjusts functional parts of devices and/or controllers using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, straightedges, electronic test equipment to include digital multi-meters, ammeters, and mechanical measuring including pressure gauges, force gauges, temperature gauges, and dimensional instruments. This includes returning tolerances to reputed company manufacturer specifications to include calibration of equipment. • Works safely, utilizing proper reputed company equipment at reputed company times and applies the concept of LOTO (Lockout / Tagout). • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, cross-training, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Maintains continuity and clarity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing requirements to complete the job. • Contributes to team effort by assisting and accomplishing reputed company tasks as needed. • Practices safety-conscience behaviors in reputed company operational processes and procedures.
