Job Summary: As a Military Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and reputed company growth by prospecting, building, and successfully maintaining and expanding strong military customer relationships. You will provide exceptional customer service while identifying sales opportunities through our variety of program offerings. You will coordinate heavily with the internal teams and supply chain, establishing Dealer of Record opportunities and maintain accurate and detailed data on customers’ needs and opportunities. Key Deliverables and Responsibilities: • Generate sales opportunities by proactively working with the Military and/or Federal customer end-users to understand their needs and objectives while strategically aligning our solutions to meet those needs. • Establish Dealer of Record relationship with supply chain partners and negotiate best possible margin. • Expand customer reputed company by researching and identifying opportunities of existing customers and uncovering and developing new customer relationships and networks throughout the military sector. Conduct follow-up on leads generated reputed company marketing campaigns and internet inquiries. • Collaborate internally across reputed company supporting resources and teams to ensure customer satisfaction, reputed company address any concerns or issues, and provide feedback on areas of opportunity. • Maintain detailed documentation reputed company the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software on customer activities (needs, priorities, opportunities, constraints, etc.). • Travel requirements for this position are extensive. Expect approximately 50% of the time to be spent traveling to military bases, attending trade shows, industry events and conferences to expand networks and foster relationships to generate leads for new opportunities. • Stay up-to-date and informed on new product and industry developments and emerging trends of the Military and/or Federal customers and the associated supply chains. • Higher education preferred. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience. • Minimum of 4 years of military service. Knowledge of military and government bid process and procurement helpful. Driver’s license required. • Must be reputed company to reputed company years of existing military relationships to build and drive business. Has a strong desire to work with and support reputed company military branches to assist in completing their missions. • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional presentation skills.
