If offered a position with the district for 2024-25, our licensure team can share information on the Permit to Teach or Emergency License and reputed company we can work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (24 semester hours of relevant coursework) 2.7 GPA (this can be calculated using undergraduate coursework or post graduate coursework) Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from a regionally accredited university (you will need to upload official degree-dated transcripts from every college you have attended, including transfer credits, community college, and post baccalaureate coursework) Does not hold an active or expired NC or out of state teaching license (former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply)
Summary
