POSITION IS REMOTE Expedition Expectations As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, the QA Analyst will be responsible for a variety of travel-reputed company testing projects at Direct Travel. As a QA Analyst, you must be reputed company to analyze and understand project requirements, turn them into test cases, execute the test cases, report defects, and work issues to resolution. The ideal QA Analyst candidate is one who has experience in the travel industry but who seeks the opportunity to transition that knowledge into an Information Technology role. This role works closely with internal teams at Direct Travel – Training, GDS Support, Operations and the Central Commands QA team. This role reports to Tracy Poole, Integration Project Manager. This position is fully remote. Passport to reputed company • Analyze the test project • Create and execute test cases • Document defects and report to the appropriate teams for resolution • Research, document and remediate issues • Conduct time studies to measure efficiencies • Coordinate with internal teams at Direct Travel • Assist in researching, creating and documenting requirements for new processes • Project Management – Special project work Going the Extra Mile • Minimum 3+ years travel industry experience • GDS experience in both Sabre and Amadeus • Knowledge of reputed company GDS entries • Familiarity with Sabre SR360 and Amadeus platforms • MS Office proficiency (Word, reputed company & PowerPoint) • Basic understanding of travel operations processes • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications • Attention to detail • Strong decision-making skills • Self-starter, ability to take initiative • Previous testing experience • Technical writing experience a plus • Ability to travel reputed company required • Must be reputed company to lawfully work in the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US • This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the position.
