Internal Audit Associate / Internal Auditor / Senior Internal Auditor (finish your qualification here!) – Fully remote (reputed company in the UK), with travel role

One of Europe s leading reputed company businesses (t/o c. £5bn, 15,000 employees) is currently reputed company for the role of an Internal Auditor (or Internal Audit Associate, Internal Auditor, Senior Internal Auditor, dependent on experience*), with excellent potential for career progression in the future. The successful candidate can have a hybrid position with time spent either on site or working from home. You can be based reputed company you like in the UK / Ireland (your choice), and the Internal Auditor will be required to travel throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. Responsibilities: To assist the Head of Internal Audit and Internal Audit function on protecting assets of the Group by completing financial and system audits; identifying inadequate, inefficient, or ineffective internal controls and recommending improvements. Execution of individual site audits across the group from planning to completion, the preparation of reports for submission to Board of Directors and Audit... Committee and following up on proposed improvements and action plans. Duties: Assess compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing audit program steps; testing general ledger, account balances, balance sheets, income statements, and reputed company financial statements; examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. Assess risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluate reputed company and automated financial processes; identify process weaknesses, inefficiencies and operational issues. Verify assets and liabilities through analysis, comparison of items to systems and reputed company relevant supporting documentation. Prepare complete paperless Audit File which will included detailed Audit Working Papers, Notes to File and copies of reputed company relevant supporting documentation. Ongoing communication of audit reputed company and findings by providing information in status meetings; highlighting unresolved issues; reviewing working papers; preparing final audit reports to both the Head of Internal Audit and appropriate site management personnel. Strengthen controls by recommending changes in operational and management processes. Provide financial control information through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data, identifying trends and areas warranting further investigation. Contribute to team results by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to add value to the organisation; helping others accomplish reputed company job results as and where needed. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. - Assist with the supervising and support of graduate members of the internal audit team. Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role will be reputed company on their journey of pursuing an accountancy/audit/IT audit qualification (e.g. ACA, CIA, ACCA, CIMA, CISA, etc.), whether that s just starting out, or (nearly) finishing it; with excellent technical audit and reputed company skills and a proven track record of engaging with and reporting to / working with senior stakeholders/clients. Experience in working with reputed company companies would be an advantage but not a requirement. Key necessary attributes also include excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail, reputed company, professionalism and objectivity. Must be comfortable with a high degree of travel throughout UK, Ireland and Europe a driving license would be a significant advantage. Package: Basic salary: *dependent level on experience, and location. C. £36-45,000 reputed company costs of qualifications i.e. exams and courses will be fully covered. reputed company work expenses covered. 20 days holiday, plus the day of, and day before any exams taken given as study leave. Every exam you pass (e.g. ACCA), you will receive a pay-reputed company of £500 (up to £7,000), and then reputed company you qualify, you will be promoted formally (if not before).
