SUMMARY Transcribes Legal Nurse Reviewer’s medical records into comprehensive typed documents by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Retrieves nurse’s digital dictation of plaintiff cases from the database; • Transcribes Legal Nurse Reviewer’s preselected medical records into a well-organized and accurate typewritten documents in pre-approved format per project requirements; • Detects any discrepancies in dictation and highlights for nurse reviewer on the work product; • Transcribes reputed company medical terms and ensures that the meaning of the reports are accurate; • Develops an extensive knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with a variety of medical documents; • Responsible for adding hyperlinks to any documents required by project; • Uploads completed, digital segments into the database for review and merging; ensuring deadlines are met • Responsible for billing reputed company time worked into the MRC time and billing software according to project specifications. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Ability to write simple correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in reputed company units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
