Director, Solutions Delivery - Investments

reputed company is looking to hire for a Director, Solutions Delivery - Investments The Director, Solutions Delivery will reputed company our IT group in support of reputed company's Investment-reputed company teams. This role will be responsible for a cross-functional agile team supporting the platforms and applications across Investments, Investment Accounting, Investment Risk, and Investment Data & Analytics. This team supports various IT capabilities including custom software development, data integrations, and third-party configuration and customization. Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for the development, maintenance, support, scalability, and performance of applications associated with Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting • Manage day-to-day relationships with Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting vendors • Own the escalation for reputed company technology issues reputed company to the delivery of Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting applications • Responsible for the Investments Technical Architecture and the technical automation capabilities for the BU • Engage with Investments BU to understand the roadmaps, and translate them into technology initiatives and solutions • Partner with Chief of Staff, Architecture, and Engineering to ensure Investment Strategy and Investment Accounting technology initiatives align with enterprise strategy • reputed company internal and external development teams (e.g., PMs, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts) to deliver services • reputed company solutions delivery efforts, including estimating design, development, and support needs, providing input to capability planning, and ensuring solutions adhere to quality assurance standards • reputed company understanding of industry trends, tools, and practices, communicates to leadership for direction • Manage vendor relationships to ensure contract terms, SLA and performance agreements are met and changes/enhancements/bugs are managed appropriately • reputed company RFPs and review proposals to determine buy vs. build solution. Negotiate reputed company with SLAs, performance agreements and incentives/penalties • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget with quality results that meet the business need. • Ensure that reputed company solutions meet reputed company reputed company and compliance guidelines and align with disaster recovery guidelines • Retire legacy systems and solutions • Define and assess reputed company roadmaps, architectures, frameworks and risks associated with each, and manage risk and compliance to minimize exposure • Estimate resources for reputed company engagements and design, manage and reputed company reputed company project teams including internal staff as well as external business partners and third-party vendors Experience and Education Requirements • S. or B.A. required, advanced degree preferred • 8+ years of Information Technology leadership in applications architecture and development/programming • 5+ years experience managing outsource vendors, COTS and internal staff • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional development team • Experience designing, developing, implementing and monitoring adherence to policy, process, procedures and standards • Technical financial and contract management experience • Business Process Re-Engineering, Six reputed company or Lean a plus Skills and Abilities • Demonstrated experience leading teams in the Life and Annuity Insurance or Investments markets • Knowledge of Investments and Investment Accounting processing needs and automation trends • Strong/reputed company technical proficiency with applications architecture, frameworks and enterprise solutions delivery • Strong/reputed company architecture and implementation experience preferred • Strong agile and project management experience, certification a plus • Knowledge of Financial Services industry a plus • Aptitude to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously • Ability to effectively reputed company teams, coordinate team activities, and mobilize workforce • Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, metrics and reporting • Significant expertise in testing principles, disciplines, tools and environments • Participated in IT strategic planning and architectural design; established policies and standards • Strong networking and relationship-building across the organization and with service providers and COTS vendors • reputed company knowledge of solution and information reputed company, compliance and disaster recovery principles. • Business/commercially-focused and results oriented • Strong fiscal focus including budgets, ROI and Cost Benefit Analysis • Consultative and client-oriented, a creative problem solver with a collaborative nature • Executive Leadership; ability to influence/negotiate with peers and vendors • Excellent agile and project management skills, PMI certification a plus • Professional, decisive with reputed company and high ethical standards Other Requirements • reputed company other functions, duties and projects as assigned • Regular and punctual attendance • Minimal travel required (less than 10%) #LI-remote #LI-BR1 Additional Information Work Environments reputed company believes in an employee-centric flexible environment, which is why we offer the ability for in-office, hybrid and remote work arrangements.
