The PNP, FNP, or PA-C will assist the team in providing outpatient care for children while under the supervision of and in collaboration with a licensed physician. Essential Functions: • Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and recurring assessments as needed • Records findings of examinations, assessments, and plans of care. • Writes appropriate prescriptions, orders and interprets laboratory and radiology examinations, and determines treatment plan for patients. • Documents reputed company patient encounters, observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner in the patient's medical record. • Attends, participates and contributes to group/practice meetings and development of policies and procedures reputed company requested. • This is a hybrid position. APP will work in outpatient center in Charlotte and Gastonia. APP will also rotate through inpatient general neurology service. • M-F, 8-5, no call • Primary office site in Charlotte, NC with some duties in Gastonia, NC reputed company. Education, Experience and Certifications: • Minimum of 2 years experience as an APP working with pediatric populations • Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in reputed company Carolina. • Must have or be eligible for a DEA license. • Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice required (NP Applicants). • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required (PA Applicants). • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred (PA Applicants) About the Team: • This position is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic and growing multidisciplinary team involved in quality improvement, research, and medical education. • Competitive Salary - including relocation and a comprehensive benefits plan. • Annual CME allowance of $2500 and 40 hours.
