Electrical Apprentice
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist in basic electrical construction tasks on a commercial electrical construction project. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical systems, safety practices, and construction site protocols. This role is well-suited for those looking to gain experience in the electrical construction field. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Support electricians in laying wiring, mounting electrical panels, and connecting devices.
- Run and pull electrical cables and conduit as instructed.
- Maintain work area cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Carry and handle tools, materials, and equipment required for electrical tasks.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems under supervision.
- Follow safety guidelines to prevent electrical hazards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues.
- Support the team with other general construction duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and construction tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Previous experience in construction or electrical work is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments (standing, climbing ladders, etc.).
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety standards and practices.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
