Company : Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description : $6,000 Sign On Bonus eligible with 2 year commitment or $3,000 Sign On Bonus eligible with 1 year commitment This full time position will work daytime hours and will float between other maternal fetal medicine locations GENERAL OVERVIEW: This job performs prescribed Sonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports reputed company results. (50%) • Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. (15%) • Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. QUALIFICATIONS: Required • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology required reputed company 12 months of hire • Nuchal Translucency Certification- Fetal Medicine Foundation completed reputed company 12 months of hire. • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of associate degree. • CPR – reputed company. • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate. • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate. • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Preferred • 4 years of OB/GYN experience. • Registered in Fetal Echo.
