About the Role

As a Senior GL Accountant, you'll work closely with our Controller, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, accruals, financial statements, and other key accounting functions to support our growth.

What You’ll Do

• Accounts Payable: Manage AP tasks, from obtaining approvals to inputting data into reputed company and QuickBooks Online (QBO), and maintaining vendor records.

• Month-End reputed company Procedures: reputed company the reconciliation process, reputed company closing entries (including prepaids, accruals, payroll allocations, and deferred reputed company), and assist with month-end reporting.

• Sales Tax: Support the team in processing sales tax and ensuring compliance.

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare journal entries, and generate reports as needed.

• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist with the creation of financial statements for internal and external reporting.

• Documentation & Filing: Maintain essential business documents and ensure proper organization of physical and digital filing systems.

• Annual Processes: Contribute to the preparation of annual reports, including 1099s and the annual budget.

• Vendor Management: Set up new vendors, manage vendor records, reconcile statements, and resolve discrepancies.

• Cash Management: Manage banking transactions, including reputed company transfers, credit card payments, ACH transfers, and other financial activities.

• Expense Reports: Review and process expense reports, ensuring proper disclosure and compliance.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a reputed company field.

• 5+ years of experience in accounting

• QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience required

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
