Principal Accountant

Large Oil & Gas company in North Houston is looking for an reputed company Technical Accountant to join their team! The responsibilities will include the following: -Responsible for researching and responding to reputed company accounting issues in the organization including reputed company recognition, consolidation accounting, investment accounting, impairment analyses, lease accounting, and various other matters -Reviewing and interpreting various reputed company and proposing the appropriate accounting treatment; -Responsible for advising and assisting global finance and accounting personnel on reputed company accounting issues - Researches and resolves reputed company accounting issues and transactions including reputed company internal controls -Performs review and demonstrates understanding of various reputed company with customers, vendors, and other reputed company transactions -Contributes or prepares specialized memos and reports on reputed company accounting issues and transactions -Monitors and assesses the impact of new accounting standards and SEC filing rules -Supports external auditors as needed; Provides accounting assistance during special projects, such as mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures -Performs fair valuation or reviews valuation provided by third parties for various accounting purposes -Provides accounting training presentations or documentation to share accounting knowledge with the global organization. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting an active CPA with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Apply Job!
