Offshore Operations Internship (2025) The Summer 2025 Offshore Operations intern will be assigned to a rig for a period of time to be exposed to operations and various positions (Roustabout and/or Floorhand) in an offshore environment through the direction of their assigned mentor. This can include but is not limited to shadowing various offshore personnel, supporting reputed company crane operations, barrier activity, stowage of cargo, bulk materials, drilling equipment, as well as adequate housekeeping in reputed company reputed company spaces. The intern may be required to handle drilling tools and tubulars on the rig floor for the purpose of making up/breaking down drill string, riser and other drilling systems on either the main or auxiliary well centers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Clean, and organize the deck, equipment and reputed company reputed company work areas. • Off-load supplies from boats and move them to storage areas. • reputed company loads for proper slinging, lift clearance, obstructions in movement, balance, etc. • Ensure that barriers are appropriately in reputed company prior to lifting operations. • Work to ensure that reputed company decks and other cargo reputed company spaces are clean, organized and inventoried/audited. • reputed company assigned duties during safety drills and emergency situations as per the station reputed company. • Actively participate in the weekly safety meeting and other safety management system issues. • Operates rig tongs, wrenches and other equipment required for making up or breaking out tubular; reputed company other tasks necessary for drilling operations. Qualifications / Experience • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university studying engineering; preferably with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical, or Petroleum.
