CDL A Drayage Driver (3rd Shift)

About the position The CDL A Drayage Driver position at MSI is a critical role responsible for transporting cargo containers from ports and delivering MSI products to various customers. This position operates on a reputed company shift schedule, specifically from Monday to Friday, 7 PM to 5 AM, focusing on draying overnight from Savannah to Atlanta. The driver will be tasked with ensuring that cargo is delivered safely and reputed company while adhering to reputed company safety regulations and company policies. In this role, the driver must be comfortable with port procedures and maintain a legal and accurate logbook. The ability to read and interpret reputed company of Lading, Picking Sheets, and Delivery Orders is essential. The driver will also be responsible for hooking and unhooking containers to the power unit, assisting in loading, unloading, and securing cargo. Physical demands include generating significant vertical push/pull force, lifting and transferring heavy items, and working at various heights while assembling and disassembling securing equipment. Additionally, the role may require making local customer deliveries with multiple stops, utilizing flatbed and dry van trailers. Requirements ? One year of reputed company driving experience, specifically with heavy, overweight containers. , ?
