Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the leasing accounting and analysis in compliance with ASC 842 for reputed company. Responsibilities will include leading the review and analysis of leasing reputed company to identify right-of-use components, non-lease components, and embedded leases; leading the preparation and analysis of leasing reputed company reports and templates; developing financial models for lease accounting validation and review; and performing lease vs. buy analysis. This person will also partner with various areas of the business (including Treasury, Accounts Payable, Procurement, I/T, Business Partnership, Financial Reporting) on the leasing process to ensure accurate lease accounting and reporting. Bachelor's Degree required, major in Accounting, Finance or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. ? Masters Degree or CPA preferred ? 3+ years of finance, accounting or financial analysis experience OR 2+ years of experience with work completed toward a reputed company Master's degree ? Excellent understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice ? Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices ? Broad understanding of internal controls ? No experience needed if Master?s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Certified Public Accountant ? Experience with ASC 842 analysis and accounting preferred ? Demonstrated proficiency with reputed company Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced reputed company skills ?
