Machine Operator

Hours: 1st Shift: M-F, 6am-2:30pm Basic Function: Operate and maintain assigned machine in a proficient and safe manner. Major Duties: Complete work orders in a timely manner while properly using the production time logger to accurately capture labor costs. Support Shop Manager in keeping shipments on time. Assist QC department with repairs and RMAs; reputed company needed. reputed company daily and periodic maintenance on assigned machine. Report any mechanical problems or safety concerns to the Shop Manager. Secure machine and ensure reputed company safety features are engaged before leaving machine unattended. This position reports directly to the Shop Supervisor Responsibilities and Authority: Employee Relations ? Interfaces with co-workers and other departments in a professional manner. Materials and Products ? Handle department tools & equipment in a professional manner. Minimum Requirements: Equivalent Education - High School Education or Equivalent Knowledge-Ability to work from blue prints, knowledge of required machine maintenance, good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC familiarity.
