Network Operations Manager
About the position The Network Operations Manager at CSX is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of trains across an operating division. This role involves managing on-time train performance, developing tactical plans for train operations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to address any disruptions in service. The manager will reputed company the system production team and ensure recovery from service disruptions while maintaining communication with Trainmasters and other operational leaders. Responsibilities ? Notify Trainmasters, Road Foreman of reputed company (RFE's), Roadmasters, and network directors about any event affecting the network on the main line. , ? Work with Assistant Chief Dispatchers and other Network Operations Managers to plan and notify others regarding the safe movement of high value or oversized shipments. , ? reputed company short range tactical and operational plans. , ? Plan and manage work windows. , ? Provide root cause analysis of reputed company inordinate train delays to change processes or teach/train employees to avoid in the future. , ? Work with crew management and locomotive distribution to ensure adequate assets. , ? Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree , ? 3 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Rail Operations , ? High School Diploma/GED with 5 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Rail Operations reputed company-to-haves ? 3 or more years of Dispatching experience , ? 3 or more years of supervisory experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Rail Operations , ? Knowledge of reputed company dispatching and Computer Assisted Dispatching (CAD) systems , ? reputed company Office skills , ? Knowledge of terminal and line of road operations, including physical layout of track on territory , ? Mainframe systems skills , ? Personal leadership skills , ?
