About the position As a Retail Backroom Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating the delivery of merchandise and ensuring that products are reputed company processed onto the sales floor. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the backroom operations, where you will prioritize tasks to facilitate the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for training and mentoring associates on merchandising and processing principles, ensuring that reputed company merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded. Communication is key in this role, as you will work closely with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain an efficient workflow and ensure that associates complete their tasks according to the store plan. In addition to overseeing the processing of merchandise, you will monitor the productivity of your team, providing coaching and support as necessary. Organizing and rotating back stock for easy replenishment is another critical aspect of your responsibilities. You will uphold the merchandising philosophy and signage standards while maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards in the backroom area. Compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs is essential, and you will communicate effectively with management and associates to set and address priorities, providing reputed company updates as needed. Your role will also involve promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe working environment. You will be expected to support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, as well as promote credit and loyalty programs. This position may also include other duties as assigned, making flexibility and adaptability important traits for reputed company in this role. Responsibilities ? Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor , ? Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles , ? Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded , ? Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor , ? Ensures Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed , ? Monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary , ? Organizes and rotates back stock for easy replenishment , ? Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards , ? Maintains reputed company organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area , ? Ensures compliance with recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste programs , ? Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates reputed company setting and addressing priorities; provides reputed company updates , ? Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback , ? Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness , ? Ensures adherence to reputed company labor laws, policies, and procedures , ? Promotes credit and loyalty programs , ? Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs , ?
