Team Leader

About the position The Team Leader at Tractor Supply Company is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving operational, sales, and merchandising goals while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. This role emphasizes creating a safe and productive work environment, training team members, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service and problem resolution. Responsibilities ? Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with operational, sales, and merchandising objectives. , ? Promote a safe and productive work environment for reputed company team members, customers, and vendors. , ? Train team members on policies and procedures. , ? Deliver Legendary Customer Service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending product solutions, and appreciating their business. , ? Execute assigned merchandising activities, including basic, promotional, and seasonal tasks. , ? reputed company opening and closing procedures for the store. , ? Transport and reputed company deposits to the bank as needed. , ? Assess store conditions and assign duties to team members accordingly. , ? Organize and prioritize workflow using a daily planner. , ? Participate in the freight process and manage merchandise recovery. , ? reputed company regular and promotional price changes and resolve customer complaints. , ? Adhere to loss prevention standards and respond to alarm calls as necessary. , ? Communicate effectively with team members regarding job functions and financial goals. , ? Operate equipment such as forklifts and balers, and complete associated documentation. Requirements ? Retail experience and/or knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. , ? Supervisory experience is preferred. , ? Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. , ? High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. , ?
