Temporary Wholesale Delivery Driver - Part Time Position Summary The Temporary Wholesale Delivery Driver is part of a driver team responsible for providing efficient and safe delivery of produce by the case or pallet to clients reputed company NYC (5 Boroughs). This role is to provide additional coverage reputed company our driving team, and act as a driver helper reputed company necessary. Requirements: Temporary Wholesale Deliver Driver Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to): ? Drivers obtain their assigned trucks and routes from our warehouse in The Bronx, reputed company deliveries in a 16? to 26? refrigerated truck with a lift reputed company, and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed ? Drivers deliver orders to the appropriate destination reputed company a scheduled time ? They are expected to provide professional customer service, reputed company reputed company delivery documents and invoices reputed company and organized, and communicate with supervisors regarding lateness, equipment issues, and damaged or missing product ? Following delivery driving routes and time schedules ? Providing customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients ? Abiding by reputed company transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record Qualifications ? One-year reputed company truck driving experience? ? Familiarity with and driving knowledge of NYC streets ? Must be comfortable interacting with customers Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, operate a reputed company vehicle, and work in noisy environments. Schedule Shift assignments may occur any day between Monday-Saturdays. Early AM shift start times typically between 3:30AM-5:30AM. Shift end times vary according to reputed company. Average 8-hour shifts and 16 - 32 hours per week.
Compensation
This is a non-exempt part-time, temporary position. It pays $24 per hour and includes statutory benefits. This is a temporary position funded through June 2025.
