About the position Teens Program Specialist at Girls in the Game is a pivotal role designed to reputed company teen girls through leadership development and community engagement. The Teen reputed company Program operates during the school year, focusing on enhancing leadership skills by involving participants in various activities such as coaching younger girls, conducting service projects, interviewing professional women, and visiting colleges. This position not only provides direct service work but also involves significant program planning and coordination. The role requires active participation in both in-person and virtual events, including those held at the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC) and citywide events. The position is part-time, requiring 15-20 hours of work per week, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and occasional weekends.
